Our successful approach to 3D machine vision and 3D imaging starts with a simple standard calibration procedure for gathering metric measurements combined with precise point cloud alignment resulting in a ultra fast 3D matching of any industrial product. Developing key competences as our laser stripe peak detector specially suited for laser triangulation, standard C++ libraries for Multi-processor & Multi-core architectures or FPGA designs, and point cloud alignment and comparison.

AQSENSE's software package SAL3D, comprising essential tools like the Metric Calibration Tool, Peak Detector, Merger Tool or Match 3D is offered to OEM companies and systems integrators already offering and familiar with 3D acquisition systems. SAL3D has proved a successful and cost saving solution inindustrial applications like protein portioning, quality control of finished goods or as inspection system in a lean environment. But also in the medical area as a tool for designing exact replicas and implants and for reverse engineering applications. More examples on different areas can be found in the applications section.

Despite our libraries are standard, flexible and suitable for being applied in the most demanding industrial environments, customized solutions are developed when requested,enhancing our existing tools for the market segment of 100% part inspection like ceramic coatings, glass inspection or metal casting. The combination of a 3D cameras and laser triangulation have provided great results, making feasible the application of vision systems where 2D approaches were not satisfactory like profile measuring and in-line inspection.
